Jun 10, 2014. #1. So I finally spun up some loops of the Forester chain I bought a few months ago. What I have is 100' of .325 x .063 in semi chisel non safety style. I spun up an 18" loop and made about 100 cuts on stuff that averaged about 5". I was pleased with how it cut. Made good chips and self fed well.Chainsaw spike. The replacement is a DCS 6421. I looked it over and the only difference is that it has a Catalytic muffler. The only real bad news is pricing. First the background on the two saws: The Husqvarna was brand new with no tanks through it. 20" factory bar with narrow kerf chain. Fuel used was Husqvarna ethanol free XP+ 50:1 mix.
