Thus, the Kakwa 55 is much larger in the internal volume than the Circuit and even the Catalyst. However, the back, side, and hipbelt pockets on the Kakwa are smaller than on the Catalyst (I believe the Circuit has exactly the same pockets as the Catalyst). The HMG is 55 internal + 10 external, so the Kakwa can take a bigger load than the 40 liter capacity would suggest, and only gives up 10L overall to the HMG.
